The Mission Business Development Committee hosts annual events held at various times and locations within Mission. These events are held to allow our residents and visitors celebrate the unique atmosphere and business community of the City of Mission.

Spirit of Mission Days

If you enjoy community spirit you're in the right City! Mission's annual Spirit of Mission Days captures the feel of our City's rich heritage. Events vary from year to year - parades, carnivals, cattle drives. But we always have bands, activities for children, and fun for all.

Battle of the Brisket

In 2007, Mission hosted the first sanctioned Kansas State Championship Bar-B-Que Contest. Come and watch top notch teams from across the Midwest vying for the title of Best Bar-B-Que in Kansas!

Mission Arts & Eats Festival

Celebrate the visual, culinary and performing arts in Mission. Our Arts & Eats Festival features exhibitions of fine arts and crafts, and a wide sampling of the cuisine of Mission. Relax to the music of local bands

Holiday Lights & Festive Sights

Help welcom the Holiday season! Warm you hands by the fire while you listen to the music of the holiday season. Enjoy holiday treats and celebrate the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas tree. Stick around to watch Santa arrive in his cyber sleigh, and enjoy the closing fireworks display.
