Holiday Lights and Festive Sights

“Holiday Lights and Festive Sights” will launch the holiday season from 5:00 to 8:30 pm on Friday evening, November 30th along Johnson Drive between Dearborn and Woodson.  The family-friendly event will include:

• A visit from Santa Claus (Santa and his Cyber Sleigh) sponsored by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance
• Dino O'Dell Dino O'Dell & the Veloci-Rappers, providing an interactive musical performance of original children’s music and holiday carols
• The Mayor’s holiday tree and street lighting
• Coloring books sponsored by the Mission Bank
• Free S’mores and Hot Chocolate provided by Mission Springs/Ashford Place
• Children's holiday activities sponsored by Target, Kansas Gas Company and Credit Union of Johnson County
• Street food and craft vendors
• Holiday stories with Mrs. Claus
• A special performance by the Shawnee Mission North Choir
• Cup cake decorating sponsored by Mission HyVee
• A special display of musical fireworks will add to the holiday evening.
